My background
I'm an Ambie Award-winning narrative podcast producer, development producer and investigative journalist with a background in documentary filmmaking.
I trained as a broadcast journalist at City, University of London before starting out in documentary film and investigative journalism as a shooting producer. Over time, I found my way into long-form narrative podcasts, where I discovered the kind of storytelling I love most. Today I work across both film and audio, producing immersive, character-driven stories for audiences around the world.
Most recently, I produced the Ambie Award-winning Sea of Lies and Foul Play with Gabriel Gatehouse, creator of The Coming Storm. Both reached number one in the podcast charts worldwide within weeks of release.
Having grown up in a small town in the West Midlands, I've always been curious about the stories that don't usually make headlines - the ones unfolding in overlooked places, or quietly shaping people's lives behind the scenes. I'm drawn to stories that reveal something deeper about human connection, society, and the forces that shape the way we live. Whether it's uncovering an untold truth, building trust with hard-to-reach contributors, or turning a complex investigation into a compelling narrative, I want to make work that helps people see the world from a different perspective.
In doing so, I've come to believe that the strongest journalism is built on relationships. Much of my work involves sensitive subjects and vulnerable contributors, so trust isn't just part of the process - it's the foundation of it. I believe good stories come from listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions, and giving people the time and space to share their experience in their own words.
The moments I'm proudest of aren't necessarily the awards or the chart positions. They're the conversations after release when a contributor says they felt heard, understood or fairly represented. If I can make work that resonates with audiences while doing right by the people at the heart of it, then I feel I've done my job.
Alongside producing, I also work in development, helping production companies, charities and creators find original stories, shape concepts, write treatments, build pitch decks, and develop ideas into projects that commissioners, platforms and audiences genuinely connect with.
